so i took this career test.
i was so freakin jumpin up and down because it was so dead on point. this is me (at my workplace particularly).
i even printed out a copy for the boss lady at work so she could better understand me and how i function, since that's not really being understood so much lately.
ISFJ "The Conservator"
ISFJ's respect established authority and they tend to accept others’ opinions and desires as their own. In work situations, they provide a stable and standardized service. Disorderly situations and constantly changing rules can cause them undue stress. At these times ISFJ's need to be more assertive and direct because, owing to their kindheartedness and sensitivity, ISFJ's can be taken for granted and even taken advantage of. This can cause them to feel resentment and anger — feelings that the ISFJ has a tendency to deny. If the situation worsens and uncomfortable feelings build up, the ISFJ will begin to feel insecure about their status. Worrying that they are not secure or protected enough, they may become overprotective and excessively nervous about foreboding events. This can cause others to feel resistant or defiant which then contributes to the disorder of the situation.
If stress continues, the ISFJ will experience increasing anxiety. Their fear that things will continue to spin out of control will result in a general feeling of dread and apprehensiveness. They become both wary of change and unrelentingly pessimistic about the future. ISFJ's will eventually become immobilized by physical symptoms associated with their anxieties. Providing care for others will become secondary as their own bodily symptoms — resulting from their fears of abandonment — disable to such a degree that they cannot assume their responsibilities. Yet, abandoning service-orientated obligations prevents ISFJ's from accessing opportunities that allow them to fulfill their basic needs.

hit-or-miss
starting june 6 i have an almost completely different and new class at school. i will be losing the 7 oldest kids in my class thus keeping the youngest 3 and gaining the oldest 3 kids from the age group below me (ones and twos). so i will have two of my favorites from my class now and two (twins) of my favorites from the tots class. AND LOSE ALL THE PUNKS THAT I'M SO TIRED OF YELLING AT EVERYDAY. i will go down in ratio from 1/10 to 1/6. i will have six kids! max. no more adding kids half way through the year screwing up my roll and agenda and class organizations. i have the six kids and thats all because i won't be allowed to have any more than that. i'm so happy. six kids will be a freakin vacation after the ten kids i've had for this past year.
american idol is pissing me off. the two best female singers are in the bottom two while the worst two are safe sitting in their friggin comfy couches watching the other two squirm in their ugly metal stools. america wouldn't know a great singer if it bit them in the bum! y'all american idol voters that put carly and syesha in the bottom two: YOU SUCK!
i get to go to hopie's house again this weekend. i like the fact that we've finally got fed up about being apart and have now started trading off houses each month almost. i love that i see my very best friend for life every month or two. it makes my life so much better, so much more normal, so much more enjoyable. i have to give a shout out to you hopie, holla!
corey planted his first potted flowers today. we picked them out together at Lowe's; they are called 'orange symphony'. of course they are orange but the rim right outside the black center is a bright purple. they are some of the prettiest flowers i have seen yet. so when we got home, he got his first lesson on how to pot a plant. he did an excellent job. mama would be proud. :)

Bereal Alumni, Woot
This weekend, Corey had an Ultimate Frisbee Tournament in Berea. He played all through college with people who came to be some of his closest friends. They are always a hoot when they get together.

They were playing another team; a lot of their jerseys said "sin", but i'm not sure if that's the team name. I'm laughing thinking about this story.
Team 'Sin' had the frisbee and were almost at the end zone when one of our players intercepted the frisbee, thus we had a turnover and it was our frisbee. Since most, if not all the 'Sin' players were close to the end zone trying to score, they were behind most of our players leaving most all them open for a pass, one of them being Corey. The turnover happened so quickly that there was little time to think about anything, everyone just took off running the opposite direction- Berea trying to get the disc down to score as soon as possible and Team 'Sin' trying to get it back before the score. Tommy throws it to Dennis who throws it to Corey, and before Corey can pass it, CRASH! He just about falls forward, not knowing what hit him.
Apparently the girl on the team was daydreaming about the score they could have just made and was watching the zone instead of the direction she was going and she ran right into Corey's back. Holy crap, it was so funny. She was so embarrassed, and while people had their laughs and asked if she was okay, she goes around Corey to catch up with her teammates, all the while holding her arm. My sister, who was sitting next to me with her fiance, starts giggling talking about how the girl had actually hurt herself by running into Corey. My response: "Well, of course, he works out every morning. He's a freakin' beast."
They won quite a few games, staying neck and neck with the two best teams, West Virginia and Xavier, losing to WV but winning over Xavier both games. We went on to the semi-finals on Sunday and ended in third place. We were pretty impressed. There were lots of good teams out there this weekend.
Congrats guys on a great and very entertaining weekend!

Tov
I held a hedgehog yesterday!

His name is Tov (Greek word for "good") and he is the pet of Kel and Leanne Penny.
He's just a little baby; he'll be 7 weeks old pretty soon.
But even that little, his little quills can give ya a shock. He curled up in the crook of my arm against my body and started to fall asleep. When Leanne went to pick him up to let Corey have a turn, he got defensive and started huffin-n-puffin and poked out his quills. Wow.
But he is the cutest little guy I've ever seen.
Don't you think so?

what can i say, it's me
tonight i changed out my wardrobe from winter clothes to spring ones since it's so nice and pretty outside. well, halfway through the process i was tired and sat down on the bed to take a lil' break and to fully concentrate on the show on t.v. (FRIENDS- my favorite show).
while i was sitting on the bed covered by stack of clothes, corey came in, looked over and said, "you could fit in that box. bet'cha 5 bucks."
He was joking.
I was not.

speed = this girls best friend
Today was definately a day that left me feeling like getting in the car and driving away.
Driving fast with the music blastin.
Wouldn't ya know I ended up getting behind all the old people in Wilmore!
I could not catch a break today.
On my errand I bought REAL chocolate and a diet Dr. Pepper. If you know me at all, you know that right there means something. (For those of you who don't know me, I eat chocolate maybe twice a year and I swore off caffeine, including my favoritest drink, about a month ago.)
Geez Louise.
