So news on the street is that we're being evicted.
Yeah.
So far its just through the campus grapevine. The rumor is though that they are planning on issuing Broadhurst residents a 60 day eviction notice. We don't know when they will issue it exactly but apparently it's happening and sometime this year. Someone said October which would have us having to move out at the beginning of December, and for those who don't know, Corey is scheduled to graduate in late December. What's the freakin' point of moving all our stuff out of the apartment and the apt. storage room for around 20 days? It's so dumb.
So everyone has freaked out and are trying to find somewhere else to live (mainly because apartments lease on a yearly basis so in order to start a year lease, they would have to move now) so when they do issue the notice, us Barkers will be the only ones they have to evict. And we will have to be evicted.

supposedly, we'll get some sort of notification in the mail about 1 to 1 in a half weeks from now! No certainty on what that notification would say, but I'm pretty sure it would be a 60 day notice... I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I really didn't want to have to move.
Holy cow! Why in the world are they evicting everybody? You'd think they'd at least make the timing work in with the semesters. Geez o pete....it makes no sense to me...
